NDP Gathering

This year we decide to spend our National day together at my place but this year was a bit special. Why?
Because i realize all of us are growing, even the kids are growing. It is so nice to see all kids gather together to have fun. Few years back most of us are still swinging bachelors or single ladies but now most of us are already married. What does this mean? We are getting OLD ! hehe

The potluck was very successful with lots of variety of delicacy from our gang. At first i am still worried we cant finish but everything was almost finish at the end.

I am so happy to see all of us having fun chit chatting, watching NDP, playing PS3 as well as our favourite Mahjong session but lady luck is not smiling at me today. I am the only loser so you can imagine how much i lost lol.

I took a lot of pictures today but mostly are babies, u must be wondering why? Because they are so adorable and innocent. Below are some of the pics today.

Uncle Birthday Dinner

Today was a sinful day, why?Because i have been eating good food from day to night haha. Lunch we had dim sum at Lei Garden though i was 1 hr late (blame my HP k?It hang at 1130 and of course everyone who call me cant get to me). IMHO i still think Lei Garden Dim Sum is still one of the top notch i had ever try so far. At night, we had dinner at this imperial restaurant at AMK grassroots club (near YCK mrt). My cousin book 3 tables in a VIP room to celebrate his father birthday. Food was nice and i purposely bring my Camera to take some pictures. Desmond Big Day

Just came back from Desmond wedding dinner, it was also a big gathering for past and present Singtel staff.
It is really joyous to see so many ex colleagues gathering together on 1 occasion. The dinner was held at Meritius Mandarin and i must admit the food is rather good but the waiter service still got plenty room for improvement though. Below are some of the pics taken earlier.

Wish my sis-in-law speedy recovery

Fri 6th July: Bought a new bag from Challenger (due to member discount) as my current bag was quite wear down. It has been my best mate for 1 yr and i think its time to retire it hehe. A new bag symbolise a new challenge ahead for me.

Sat 7th July: Went to Kelvin's house to have my usual haircut and saw Kway Heng leaving when we arrived. Jacky was also there trimming his already very short hair. After that went back to Mum's place for dinner and was shocked to learn that my sis-in-law went for surgery on that day. It was a minor one though as she was discharged on the same day and she looks ok as well.

Hope she recover soon!

Tummy Trimmer

Serene bought a new toy again today. Its a tummy trimmer + mat for her to work out. We both just try it earlier (tummy is both our downfall haha) and i think we really need to put in alot of effort to tone up the flab. I think tmr i will have stomach cramp cos long time no exercise ler! *Guilty*.

Today went shopping @ Causeway Point for working clothes and a new belt. I brought along my new camera to take some outdoor pictures hehe and i am quite satisfied with the quality. Serene made a new pair of spectacles, does not come cheap wor because it is branded stuff, the famous "G" hehe. Those who want to know, go and ask her for details. Dinner @ Brewerkz

Today we had a great dinner at Brewerkz, thanks to Ivin, Jansen, Sahril, Cliff & Poo. They are the promoted personnel for this year so we get to work our taste bud!!! Well i bought a new Canon Camera (Powershot S5) and took some fantastic shots (erm in my own opinion), not because my skills are that great actually. It don't come cheap but i think it is quite value for money and it means i can upload more picture to my blog too. It comes with 2 SD cards, rechargable AA batteries, tripod stand, cleaning kit, pouch and a neck strap. I bought it at HN @ Funan, paying by 2 yrs installment.

HTC Touch

Today Serene bought a new toy! We were viewing all the HPs at M1 westmall when we chance upon the HTC touch PDA. There was a Dopod guy promoting the phone but i kind of don't really like his way of promoting, probably he look & sound a wee bit arrogant and snobbish. I also not a PPC (PPC=pocket pc) amateur lor, duhz treat me like i'm a newbie. Well Serene is eager to replace her not so good HP so i never say much otherwise i would have rather buy somewhere else.

The phone cost $498 with normal 2 yr plan but we have to top up $100 extra because i only server 11 months of the mobile contract. Thanks to my Citibank credit card, she can pay by monthly installment over 12 months. Attach is the picture of the phone (forgive the quality ok?)
